HackBox is a story-driven cyber simulation for your phone. Step inside your own virtual computer, follow a trail of messages and files, and uncover Season 1: OPEN CIRCUIT.

A message gives you a lead. A network scan reveals somewhere to look. A file gives you a reason to keep digging. Move between conversations, commands, and clues as you work through the story.

Features

A whole hacking device in your pocket

Your adventure lives inside a virtual mobile desktop. Open Terminal, check Mail, browse Files, and visit the Software Shop. Each app is part of the same machine and the work you do on it.

Follow OPEN CIRCUIT

Read messages, investigate unfamiliar systems, and collect the evidence that moves the story forward. Keep an eye on what you find: the next lead might be inside a file you just brought home.

Choose how you use the Terminal

Use Linux-style commands or choose simplified GSL. Learn the tools as you explore, with a Player Wiki available when you need a hand.

Investigate a simulated network

Discover computers, inspect their services, work through access routes, and retrieve files. The machines, commands, and networks belong to the fictional game world.

Build your toolkit

Take contracts, turn in evidence, and earn in-game credits. Visit the Software Shop for specialist tools that give you more ways to investigate the systems you encounter.

Come back to your computer

Return to your saved PC and pick up your work. Before switching devices, return to the game menu and let your PC synchronize; changes that have not synchronized stay on the original device.
